I feel it a great honor to have a chance to give a speech here, talkingabout the haze weather, which causes lots of bad effects on our health and life.We breathe polluted air, making us suffer from lung and liver diseases. Besides,because of it, the flights have to be canceled. All kind of transports may runinto each other, resulting in much damages and lots of injuries.
As far as I am concerned, it is high time that we did something. Asinpiduals, we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reducecarbon dio__ide. As government, more measures should be taken by carrying out therelated law on pollution.
In summary, we're all looking forward to breathe fresher air and live ahappier life. Everyone should be a part of this job.

low-carbon is one of the most popular buzz-words in this year. Not onlyChina but all countries focus on the topic of low-carbon.
Here, Id like to share my own e__perience abroad with you. Several yearsago, I was very lucky to he an opportunity to live in the Australia about half amonth. During that time, Not only did I enjoy the beautiful natural scenerythere, but also I appreciated the peoples active way of protecting theirenvironment. Now, whenever the environment protection is mentioned, thebeautiful scenery of Australia will arise in my mind, white clouds flying acrossthe blue sky, green grassplot sprinkled with colorful flowers and lovelysquirrels playing happily among the trees.
As a citizen of China, if everyone can actively protect the environment inour daily life and if we would like to reduce our carbon footprint, the sceneryof blue sky, green grass and lovely animals in Australia will appear in China,even in HeFei.
But I totally support the view, that is to say, Emotion without action isirrelevant! Do you unplug electronics after you use them? Do you switch offeverything before you go to sleep? Do you adjust your TV screen a bit dimmer tose energy? Do you re-use water for different activities around the house? Eachof these seemingly insignificant adjustments in your daily life can make adifference in sing the environment of tomorrow.
We all know that nothing is more fortable than sitting in the warmth of ahearted car while its snowing and hailing outside in the freezing coldBut withglobal warming and even global cooling being more pressing by the day, not tomention your own health, take a walk ,ride a bike ,reduce your carbon footprinton the environment .It is said that tiny streams can be bined into a vast ocean,small trees can be an immense forest, and every little makes a mickle.

Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers andlakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the pricewe have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argumentis valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if people’s lives areadversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution?
There is plenty of evidence to show that sustainable development can beachieved by balancing economic growth with protection of the environment. Chaina has put a ban on the use of much thinner plastic bags starting onJune 1,20____.According to the ban people are not allowed to use super-thinplastic bags any more.And all the supermarkets are forbidden to providecustomers the plastic bags for free. If the customers need a piastic bag, theymust pay for it.
I think the ban is good for us, and it can protect our environment. As weall know, the plastic bags can cause the white pollution and pollute soli andwater. Besides, producing plastic bags can waste much energy and make our earthworse.
So we should firmly carry out the ban sa that we can improve ourenvironment. From now no, we should encourage our families and friends to usecloth bags or baskets. We mustn't litter the rubbish. And we should recycleplastic bottles, solt drink cans, and so on. I'm sure we can make ourenvironment better.
