Hello， Everybody.
my hometown is lhasa, the largest city on the roof of the world. it is theheart and soul of tibet. i think lhasa is one of the most beautiful cities inthe world. it is surrounded by towering mountains and rarely a day goes by whenyou don’ t see the deep blue sky. lhasa river is flowing quietly around thecity.
lhasa is the mixture of tradition and fashion.
firstly, lhasa has a long history. it is the political, cultural andeconomic center of tibet. it has lots of famous sights to offer. the potalapalace is the most famous, a magnificent and wonderful place to look at. in myopinion it is a unique artistic achievement of the tibetan people. likewise, thearchitecture, carvings and paintings throughout the city show hard work, wisdomand bravery of our people.
secondly, led by the reforming and opening policy of china, lhasa haschanged a lot. many new things have arrived up here, changing the face of thecity. the old and new lie side by side in lhasa.
many new buildings, schools and roads have been built here. furthermore,the qing—zang railway leading to lhasa is being built. many shopping centershave been opened, and modern technology like telecommunications is spreading.the whole city looks prosperous, and our tibetan people take on a new look.every festival, people walk around freely on the new, wide and smooth streets,wearing the beautiful traditional costumes.
right now, i am looking forward to a festival called shodün which comes injune for eating yoghurt. at this time, all my family and i gather for a picnictogether at the norbulinka, a famous garden. in the garden, we sing tibetansongs, dance “guo zhuang” on the grass; eat zanba, drink butter tea and barleybeer on the beautiful carpet as well. we enjoy our life. i think that thisfestival exhibits the open-minded and optimistic character of the tibetanpeople.
finally, “i love my hometown. i love the people in my hometown.”

This beautiful placenamed“TianQuan”─my hometown, it stands near the Qingyi river at the foot ofErlang mountain, It is a small city covered by green and it’s famous for thebeautiful scenery, excellent climate and long history.
In the past, it was poor. People who once came here did not want to comeagain ，why?The streets were full of rubbishes and the buildings were old andsmall，when there were strong winds the buildings were shaking as if they wantedto say “Hello”to you.
But today，with the lead of our government, many changes have takenplace，life is much better than before.
First, flowing on modern agriculture, theader guide peasants to useadvanced technology to develop agriculture.Such as ,keeping chickens in cages,planting fruit trees. As a result, the economy developed reasonably.
Tourism is another way to develop economy .You know that there are manyinteresting places in Tianquan. If you come to visit these places, the peoplethere will offer the best for you and give you a lot of pleasure. The mostfamous one is “Laba He”，
There, the air is so clear and you can see trees and mountains everywheresome said：“In summer it is green like a fountain，and in winter it is white likea white jade, so it attracts thousands of towns from all over the world ”.
Finally，the leaders pay much attention to the education，They have trainedmore and more skilled person. Most of then come back to our hometown and devoteall their loves to our hometown.
In order to build our hometown into a land of economic prosperity,political stability and beautiful landscape. i come from yunnan province, yunnan locate in southwest of china, firstly,it’s a supernatural place and has all kinds of weather and altitude decide thechange of temperature .the weather is cold in winter with the tall altitudeclimate, but summer is cool. winter likes spring while the summer is very hot inthe low. 滇中 is moderate, all seasons like spring. such as 昆明and 玉溪 .secondly,yunnan is the heaven of tour .every place is very wonderful, especially,丽江, 大理and 西双版纳are very famous .
my hometown named迪庆，and it has another name-----shangri-la .i miss it, inmy hometown, all people have no trouble, no pain, and always smile and livebetter. despite development of its economy is slow, no more high buildings, andno more comfortable things like developed area, most people live on field ,butevery year the gains are enough to living ,they feel satisfied, because thebeautiful environment and moderate climate makes them feel more comfortable.
i take pride of by my birth in the supernatural soil, since i come into theworld, everyday, i enjoy everything that it give me. i like it always. my homeis surrounded by many mountains .the tops of the mountains are covered by snowall the year round. my home is at the foot of a mountain, and the place is theconnection of three rivers and there are many small rivers, it are 金沙江，怒江and澜沧江.
it gives me a happy childhood...there are all kinds of animals and plantsin my hometown .in spring, mushroom is springing up anywhere, people will pickit up when go to hill, the mushroom is made all kinds of dishes . summer, i canswim in rivers, and there are many fish, i can fish in rivers. one day, i catchmany fish enough my families to eat .winter, i often went to the hill to catchbirds and hunt for rabbits. autumn，all crops are mature，people are smile and getin it .in a hurry, i help my parents although i am very tired; people who aresatisfied with everything enjoy themselves frequently.

surrounded by towering mountains, lishui is the first pilot area ofstate-level ecological demonstration area in zhejiang, with ou river runsthrough. the sky is very blue and the water is very clean. you can often hearbirds singing and sheep bleating, see big trees and nice flowers everywhere, andbreathe fresh air full of the fragrant flowers. it just likes a cute lady standquietly here, waiting for her beloved gentleman. it has many nice scenic spots,such as xiandu, mountain baishanzhu, grottoes shimen, and so on. the food herealso tastes very delicious. thousands of people from other parts of china andforeign countries come here every year, especially in holidays, most of whoenjoy every minute here.
